Michelle and the "Forgetting" Chair

Michelle and her boyfriend moved into their apartment on the rougher side of town about six months ago. The building is clean and safe, which is something hard to find on what they can affort. But the landlord has one major rule he is very serious about; you have to pay your rent on-time, no exceptions, or you're out. That causes a problem for Michelle, who always seems to be between jobs and has a habbit of spending the money her boyfrend makes working two jobs on other stuff.

Bobby the building manager is tough when it comes to collecting rent but is also known to be a pervert who is friendly to the female tenants. And there is a kind of urban legend in the building about a chair he supposedly keeps in his apartment. The rumor is that he is willing to "forget" to tell the landlord about the late rent in exchange for bending over his chair.

Michelle has been late on the rent a couple times due to her poor money management. And her boyfriend, being well aware of the rumors, told her she needed to do "whatever it takes" to keep them from getting put out onto the street. Fortunately for Michelle she had managed to flirt her way out of getting evicted both times by promising Bobby the rent would be paid within a few days. But when he told her she would need to come by his place to talk about it when she asked for yet another extension she had a sinking feeling. And when she walked into his place and saw a chair moved into the middle of the room she knew the rumors were more than a legend. And there wasn't much talking about it going to be done.
